Story of a passion
It all started very young playing lead cyclists on the beach during my vacation at my grandparents' house, then watching the Tour de France very quickly became the unmissable event every summer. A passion was born!
At the age of 25, I discovered bike travel by crossing the Pyrenees, from Collioure to Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
Dazzled by the beauty of the landscapes, the passage of the mythical passes of the Tour de France and does not seduce this unique rhythm of cycling, where pedaling rate and percentage slope are used as the only metronome.
This journey immediately aroused in me an irresistible desire: to go on an adventure again, and explore as many regions as possible by bike.
Since then, I have been traveling the roads of France and Europe with my bike and my camera to capture the beauty of our regions.
With KomUnity, my ambition is to share this passion and this experience by organizing unique cycling adventures, in the heart of the most beautiful French and European regions.
The bike trip
Biking is the perfect compromise between travel and exploration: it takes us far away, while giving us time to be amazed at each new valley, new bend, new bend, new hairpin or new summit reached.
Whether it's crossing a forest or a mountain range, crossing a border or walking along a river, each pedal stroke invites you to escape and to the imagination, to the taste of effort and to accomplishment.
Why “KomUnity”
By combining “Om” (a reference to the “King of the Mountain”, a term commonly used in cycling to refer to the best climber) and “Unity” (which refers to the idea of coming together, of community), KomUnity calls for physical effort and surpassing oneself, but also more generally to this idea of sharing because cycling always arouses a lot of curiosity, and naturally causes encounters.
