Our bike travel services

Do you have questions?

Our team will be happy to answer them!

F.A.Q.

We will no longer have any secrets for you.

Can I apply to KomUnity for a tailor-made trip?

Of course, all the bike trips in our catalog are customizable. Moreover, they are systematically adapted according to availability, your requests, and the day of departure. You can also share all your desires with us at contact@komunity.cc, even to a new destination, we will be happy to come back to you with a tailor-made stay quote.

What types of bikes are suitable for KomUnity adventures?

For each of our adventures, we offer high-end bikes for rent: hiking bikes or carbon road bikes, available with electric assistance. If you wish, you can also come with your own bike. For mountain trips, we strongly recommend the use of a road bike.

Do I have the level to go on a bike trip?

Of course! We offer trips for all levels to allow everyone to live the magnificent experience that is cycling. Our trips are classified by difficulty in order to help you select a route adapted to your level. There are 4 levels of difficulty:
1. Beginner : Trips accessible to everyone even if you never do sports or bike. The stages are short and relatively flat to allow you to enjoy the landscape without exhausting yourself.
2. Intermediate : Trips that remain accessible to all levels but the distances are a bit longer compared to the beginner level and the terrain can be hilly.
3. Confirmed : You are sporty and are used to doing endurance sports (running, hiking, cycling, triathlon)
4. Expert : Trips reserved for climbers used to long distances. These are trips that follow the routes of the Tour de France. The stages are generally between 80 and 120 km for at least 1500 m of positive altitude difference. For each trip, we offer the rental of electric bikes with a range of more than 100km to help you overcome any difficulty.

And the relief in all this?

Our trips are also classified by relief.
They were organized into 3 groups as in the Tour de France:
1. Dish: Flat relief. Altitude generally less than 300 meters. Perfect to swallow the kilometers without getting tired, even without electric assistance. Difficulty: easy.
2. Accidental: Hilly relief, marked by the presence of hills or medium mountains. Altitude often between 300 and 800 meters. These adventures remain accessible for everyone but it is better to opt for an electric bike if you are not used to the altitude difference.Difficulty: intermediate to advanced.
3. Mountain: High relief with altitudes greater than 800 meters. High percentage, twisty descent, and spectacular vistas, it's climbers' favorite playground. These destinations can also be discovered by electric bike, to benefit from pleasant assistance. Difficulty: confirmed to experts

What accommodations await you after the stage?

After a day of pedaling, it's time for some well-deserved rest!
We offer you accommodations, each more exceptional than the last, where it is good to rest and recharge your batteries (yours or that of the bike).
We have selected the most beautiful for you: charming guest rooms, mountain chalets, concept hotels, farm cottages, cabins in the woods or unusual accommodations.
You will have only one desire, to discover what awaits you at the next stage.

How are trip departure dates determined?

It's up to you to decide! On our travel page, you choose your destination then your departure date and we adapt to offer you the best possible experience.
For some trips, we recommend a departure day during the week to avoid large crowds, and to optimize the program according to the opening days of our partners but it is up to you to choose.

Primordial! As we are cyclists, but also gourmets, for each of our trips, we have prepared a complete roadbook with a selection of all the great addresses not to be missed under any circumstances!
There is something for everyone: picnics facing the sea, tapas at sunset, tables d'hotes on the farm or traditional restaurants.

Your testimonies

Because you're the one who talks about it best...

Great bike time spent with colleagues and organizers who were really great!
Julian P.
Already two KomUnity Pelotons under my belt during the 2023 and 2024 Tour de France, all with friends. The first in the Alps to fight against the percentages of Ramaz and the second in Ariège to enjoy nature in the hairpin bends of the Col d'Agnes.
Thanks to KomUnity and Brieux for organizing, with great care, these moments of sport but above all of sharing, conviviality, surpassing oneself and discovering magnificent landscapes. France by bike is even more beautiful.
Simon D.
Superb organization proposed by KomUnity and Brieux each year through various journeys, Mont Ventoux and its surroundings, a visit to Ariège but also days on the Tour route!
The sports program, but adapted to the group, allows you to combine performance, fun and discovery!
Thanks again!!
